FAQ - CRISPR InDel Profiling Platform (CIPP)
What is the optimal size for IDAA Tri-primer PCR?
The IDAA tri-primer PCR size can be anywhere from around 100-1000bp, but is primarily determined by the experimental genome editing application. For NHEJ based knock-out genome editing we recommend 150-550bp product designs, but larger target designs can be designed if deletions of 300-1000bp are expected. Likewise, for “knock-in” experiments with insertion of DNA donors anywhere from 1 to 1000bp, “knock-in” target can easily be detected by the platform. |
